Booking with the Shindig Team
What is the Shindig Team?
The Shindig Team is a free booking service for great venues in Austin, New Braunfels and Fort Worth. Tell us about your event and we find the right venue and space, then book it for you.
How much does it cost to use the Shindig Team?
Nothing. The Shindig Team is paid by the venue, so there is no charge to you for using our booking service. You pay only for your event at the venue.
How do I book an event?
Fill out the booking request form with your date, times, guest count and occasion. A member of the Shindig Team will get back to you to confirm availability and details.
How quickly will I hear back?
You will hear from a member of the Shindig Team within 24 hours of submitting a booking request, and usually in less than an hour.
How far in advance do I need to book?
You can book as late as the same day, as long as the venue is available. Popular dates fill up, so booking early gives you the most choice.
Is there a minimum group size?
No. There is no minimum group size. Tell us how many people you expect and we will match you with a venue and space that fits.
Do I need to pay a deposit? What is the cancellation policy?
Deposits, minimums and cancellation terms depend on the venue. Generally, venues do take a deposit and charge cancellation fees. We will walk you through the venue's terms before you book.
What kinds of events can I book?
Parties, birthdays, corporate events, team outings, rehearsal dinners, weddings, reunions and get-togethers of all sizes.
Are kids welcome?
Yes. Kids are welcome at our restaurant venues.
Can you arrange catering?
Yes. The Shindig Team books catering from El Arroyo, Austin's famous Tex-Mex restaurant.
Can you arrange transportation?
Yes. The Shindig Team books group transportation through Rockin' R.
Can I book a river float and a meal together?
Yes. You can book a package that combines a Rockin' R river trip in New Braunfels with El Arroyo.
Do you handle decorations or party planning?
No. The Shindig Team is a booking service for great venues, so we do not handle decor or day-of party planning. For personalized decorations and party favors, browse our catalog.
